Qualifications

• I have worked for over 19 years in the behavioral health non-profit sector and I do provide clinical supervision through my private practice. I have been licenced since 2012 which is when I also began my private practice.   
• I worked for several years as a psychiatric therapist in a locked inpatient psychiatric unit that supported teenagers who struggled with severe mental health issues as well as trauma related issues.
• I have over fifteen years of experience working in community mental health settings, including working with individuals form the LGBTQIA community as well as foster and adopted youth in both individual and residential settings.
• I have worked extensively with children and teenagers, both in and out of the school setting, around behavioral issues, major trauma and the frustrations of navigating learning and/or physical disabilities.  
• Worked with formerly homeless women and men addressing issues related to trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, PTSD and severe mental health issues.
• Worked as an MFTI in a behavioral day treatment pre- school for emotionally traumatized children age 2-5 doing both play therapy and family therapy.
• Masters in Psychology from California Institute of Integral studies
• BA in Psychology and Cultural Anthropology
